BOOMERANG LOUNGE
2008
In the absurd french comedy Monsieur Hulot's Holiday, Jacques Tati's alter ego is so clumbsy that he often bumps into and overturns furniture, then reacts as if he meant to do that! In one scene, he flips a sausage shaped lounge on it's side, then sits on it as if it were a rocker. I first saw this film when I was seven or so, and was so impressed by this image that I longed for such a rocker, and so made Boomerang.
