Tibet is often referred to as “the altar of the World”. Possessing the highest peaks on earth, it is recognized as the place where the sky first touches land. It is also home to a form of Buddhism that is rich in tradition and symbols, at times chronicling a once violent past. Yet this culture and religion have transformed itself into a beacon of peacefulness through introspection and enormous restraint.

This symbol, also known as the Wheel of Law, invokes a “circle of life” simplicity and beauty that lends meaning without words.
